DESCRIPTION:Please Join us for a webinar exploring the Decolonizing Women’s Shelter Policies Project\, a National initiative led by Keepers of the Circle\, and its role within the broader Cedar Blankets Project\, led by BCSTH\, which works to increase access to transition houses and second-stage housing while advancing the decolonization of shelter policies and practices. Participants will learn how colonialism\, systemic racism\, and gender-based violence create barriers for Indigenous women\, girls\, and 2SLGBTQIA+ people seeking shelter services\, and how Indigenous-led approaches can support safer\, more culturally responsive pathways to healing and support.
