This special housing training is made possible by support from the Canadian Mortgage Housing Corporation (CMHC) and will be located in Richmond\, BC at the Radisson Hotel. Coming out of the research and partnership building from the Getting Home Project\, the Keys to Home Project\, and the Women-Centred Housing Design Toolkit; the Building Up 2! Training is designed for BCSTH member organizations to engage and learn about: \n\nLong-term women-centred housing development processes and models\nPrinciples\, ideas\, and best practices of designing women-centred housing spaces and how to reflect the needs of the community in design decision-making\nWomen-centred housing operations including understanding the Residential Tenancy Act and promising practices in Second Stage operations.\n\n*The training is designed for BCSTH members who are currently engaged or interested in building longer-term (Second Stage/Third Stage/Long-Term) housing solutions in their community.
