Lori lives in Campbell River, BC on the beautiful Vancouver Island, the land of the Laichwiltach people. Lori has been working at the Campbell River & North Island Transition Society for the past 15 years, where she started as a frontline worker at the transition house. She then worked as the outreach and safe home coordinator, and now she is the Transition House Manager at the Ann Elmore Transition House for the last 2 years. Lori has served on a number of committees committed to ending violence against women and children. She has also participated in many community events related to stopping violence against women and children to spread awareness and to be a voice to create change. She is a strong advocate for women and children experiencing violence, and is committed and passionate about ending violence against women and children. Lori has taken courses in Law & Governance for nonprofits, Financial Management for nonprofits and HR management. She is married with a 9-year-old son and a new puppy Penny. Lori likes to spend time outdoors fishing, hiking, dirt biking, swimming and gardening.
