The International Women’s Day celebrates women and their achievements throughout history and across nations.

At a time when women in Canada make 72 cents for every dollar earned by a man, we honour your labour, expertise and dedication. It is a privilege to work alongside you every day to end violence against women, children and youth.

Today, we also honour and support the global community of women resisting oppression in all its forms, including those participating in women’s strikes near and far.
