Annual Training Forum

Every year the BC Society of Transition Houses hosts an Annual Training Forum to gather and inspire anti-violence workers throughout BC. Whether in-person or virtual, the ATF brings people together to share their knowledge, skills and commitment to the work of supporting women, children and youth experiencing violence.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for attending this year’s Annual Training Forum on the theme of Re-Imagining Connections. We were so pleased to once again host over 400 attendees from all over BC and beyond, entirely through virtual means.

The 2021 ATF featured speakers who covered topics ranging from effective allyship to Indigenous child welfare to incorporating men and boys in our work to end gendered violence. All of our sessions (with permissions to record and share) are now available as recordings for post-ATF viewing on our ATF PheedLoop platform. Simply click on the top left tab “Schedule” and then select the session you’d like to view. There will be a link for this included within each individual session.

Would you like to keep a memento of this year’s ATF? We encourage you to keep a memory of ATF 2021 by purchasing this year’s conference T-shirt. All proceeds go to our Bursary Fund, an unrestricted fund for education and employment opportunities with the goal of increasing BC women’s capacity to support themselves and their dependents financially.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions on what you would like to see at future ATFs, please do share your ideas with us by emailing
