BBM Webinar 1: Lessons Learned in Operating Second Stage Housing
BCSTH has received funding to provide a free webinar series which will highlight women-centred operational practices that are violence and trauma-informed. These webinars have been curated based on a survey and focus groups with anti-violence members and aim to meet the expressed training needs of BCSTH members.
Join us to discuss lessons learned from three organizations that operate Second Stage housing in both rural and urban locations across BC. Based on feedback from BCSTH members, this webinar will cover women-centred housing operations in Second Stage housing and include mixed-model housing considerations, Second Stage operations from a rural lens, and lessons learned around ensuring operations reflect being transitional housing. Thank you to our speakers Lisa Rupert, YWCA Metro Vancouver, Zandile Moyo, Kelowna Women’s Shelter & Ellen Frood, Sage Haven Society.
