Children and Youth Services Coordinator

Chelsea (she/her) comes from a background in frontline work in Ecuador as a family and street outreach worker, working in various capacities with child labourers and women and children affected by domestic and gender based violence. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia where she also worked on a range of projects and reports at the Institute of Critical Indigenous Studies and in the Department of Political Science. She is enthusiastic about work that advances decolonization and focuses on bottom-up, community informed institution building. On the side, Chelsea is an avid olympic weightlifter and is passionate about travel and warm weather.
