Vice Chair (Region 1 Vancouver Island & Powell River)

Karlee has spent over 20 years in the health and human services sector, working alongside equity-deserving communities to create positive change. She currently serves as the Director of Housing and Community Supports at Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Vancouver Island. Along with her current role, her past roles with Victoria Women’s Transition House and Brain Injury Services of Northern Ontario reflects her deep commitment to social justice, leading efforts that prioritize inclusive, person-centered support.


In her current role, Karlee oversees second-stage transition housing and long-term women’s housing, ensuring individuals have safe, stable, and empowering environments. Passionate about advocacy and creating system-level change, she continues to lead programs that promote dignity, equity, and long-term well-being for underserved communities and individuals at risk of violence.
