Neena Randhawa

Director (Region 3 Fraser Valley)

Neena is the Director of Women’s Programs and Initiatives at the Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society and works with the Harmony House Second Stage Transition House Program for immigrant women and children fleeing domestic violence. She started her career as a support worker at Transition Houses; soon she was able to get funding for multi-cultural outreach and expanded the service to poverty law advocacy powered by volunteers and practicum students. Neena has also been instrumental in linking low income clients with good legal advice, newcomers with settlement services program and providing temporary housing for the homeless courtesy of local developer. She lives in lower mainland BC with her family including two teenagers. She is also certified yoga teacher and teaches yoga and meditation to children.
