Reducing Barriers

Women who have experienced violence and who have mental health and substance use issues often face restricted access to transition and second stage houses and safe homes. As a result, those who are most vulnerable are at increased risk of homelessness and further violence. This in-person training focuses on considering ways to lower and reduce these barriers and is offered 7 times a year across BC.
