In the Compass Project, the BC Society of Transition Houses (BCSTH) developed a publicly available online tool to support survivors and anti-violence workers in navigating the non-consensual distribution of intimate images (NCDII). The project created an interactive user-friendly decision tree to help anti-violence workers and survivors effectively and confidently navigate their options for legal action, support, and tech safety procedures in the context of non-consensually shared intimate images. By updating and revising BCSTH’s library of resources and transforming them into a centralized and accessible web based tool, the project created informative pathways for people impacted by NCDII. The BC tool is available to both BCSTH members and the public on the Compass Project webpage and through the Tech Safety Project page on the BCSTH website.

Dans le cadre du projet Compass, la BC Society of Transition Houses (BCSTH) a mis au point un outil en ligne accessible au grand public pour aider les survivantes et le personnel antiviolence à s’y retrouver dans la distribution non consensuelle d’images intimes (DNCII). Le projet a permis de créer un arbre de décision interactif et facile à utiliser pour le personnel antiviolence et présente les différentes options d’action juridique et de soutien, ainsi que les mesures de sécurité technologiques disponibles dans le contexte de la diffusion d’images intimes non consensuelles. En mettant à jour et en révisant la bibliothèque de ressources de la BCSTH et en développant un outil centralisé et accessible, le projet a facilité l’accès à des canaux d’information pour les personnes touchées par la DNCII. Cet outil est disponible pour les membres de la BCSTH et le grand public sur la page web du projet Compass.
