BBM Webinar 7: Lessons Learned in Operating Childminding and Childcare in the Anti-Violence Sector

BCSTH has received funding to provide a free webinar series which will highlight women-centred operational practices that are violence and trauma-informed. These webinars have been curated based on a survey and focus groups with anti-violence members and aim to meet the expressed training needs of BCSTH members.

Join us Friday, May 2, 10AM-11.15AM to discuss lessons learned in childminding and childcare operations in the anti-violence sector. In this webinar, we will be joined by Sophia Luise Hladik, BCSTH practicum student (SFU) researching childminding practices, as well as Heather Funk and Krista Voth of Robson Valley Community Services, who operate both a childcare centre as well as childminding in their mixed-model building and Kyla-Rae Laferdy from Phoenix Transition Society who will share about their practices in offering a trauma-informed perspective and practice implications with respect to childminding practices for the mothers that they serve.
