BCSTH Podcast – Episode 2 Now Live!

Episode two of The BCSTH Podcast is now live!

In the final episode of our two-episode miniseries focusing on our member organization Carrier Sekani Family Services, we attend their 20th Anniversary Highway of Tears Symposium in Prince George, BC. We speak with Mary Teegee-Gray, CAO of Carrier Sekani Family Services and a community leader in addressing the MMIWG2SLGBTQIA+ crisis along Highway 16, we learn about the Red Dress Society in Prince George with its president Tammy Meise, and we watch the unveiling of the Pillar of Hope, the project featured in Episode 1 of this series.

Check out our first two episodes here: BCSTH Podcast | BC Society of Transition Houses

The goal of this podcast is to highlight the lifesaving work of the BCSTH membership, every day, to respond to, prevent and end gender-based violence in BC. Keep an ear out for the next podcast episode on July 7th!
