BBM Webinar 8: Asset Management Fundamentals

BCSTH has received funding to provide a free webinar series which will highlight women-centred operational practices that are violence and trauma-informed. These webinars have been curated based on a survey and focus groups with anti-violence members and aim to meet the expressed training needs of BCSTH members.

Join us Friday, June 6, 10AM-11.15AM for Asset Management Fundamentals! We’re pleased to welcome guest speakers from the BC Non-Profit Housing Association (BCNPHA), the Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) and Kathi Heim, Director of Housing Services, Canadian Mental Health Association Kootenays. This session will cover key topics, including Building Condition Assessments, Capital Planning, Energy Audits, and an overview of BC Housing’s funding request process. We’ll also explore cyclical maintenance and asset management best practices that prioritize womens safety and working in partnership with BC Housing to support your organization’s long-term planning. We will be doing small group discussions at the end of the session, so please bring your questions!
