BBM Webinar 2: Beyond Bricks and Mortar: The Residential Tenancy Act from a Women-Centred Lens
BCSTH has received funding to provide a free webinar series which will highlight women-centred operational practices that are violence and trauma-informed. These webinars have been curated based on a survey and focus groups with anti-violence members and aim to meet the expressed training needs of BCSTH members.
Join us to discuss operating Long-Term housing under the Residential Tenancy Act for women with experiences of violence. Based on feedback from BCSTH members, this webinar will include both a Residential Tenancy Act lawyer, Samantha Douglas of Haddock and Company as well as Katie Suen of Campbell River & North Island Transition Society which operates both Second Stage and Long-Term housing and will shed light on lessons learned offering both models.
*This webinar is open to members only. To register, please see the BCSTH Weekly Member Newsletter. For further information on how to become a member, please visit our Become a Member page*
