Reaching Out with Yoga was a 5-year collaborative project between the BC Society of Transition Houses and Yoga Outreach. This research project looked at how participating in trauma-informed yoga can impact the health and well-being of women, children and youth who have experienced violence, and of front-line staff working in the anti-violence sector in British Columbia.
We want to acknowledge and thank all of the Transition and Second Stage House Program staff, and PEACE Program counsellors who participated in this project.
This project has been made possible through funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
