The PEACE Program Training video provides an overview and framework for working with children and youth who have experienced violence, including guidance about working from a psycho-educational approach. The video shares information about the PEACE mandate, stages of service, suggestions for structuring sessions and examples of potential activities, considerations for different developmental ranges, and ideas about how to open and close sessions. The training video was developed with new counsellors in mind, but we hope that all PEACE Program counsellors will find it helpful and relevant.
