This document focuses on the challenges, barriers and needs of rural Safe Homes providing services to women experiencing violence with complex needs. Titled preliminary promising practice, this document is a first step in creating a set of promising practices for rural Safe Homes providing services for women experiencing violence with mental wellness and/or substance use needs.
