BCSTH Transportation Project: Embedding a Gender-Based Approach into Northern and Rural Transportation Systems. This community-based project takes aim at systems-level beliefs and behaviours that lead to unsafe, unreliable, inaccessible transportation options for women and girls in rural and northern BC. The project will build partnerships between the transportation and anti-violence sectors and together, we will test collaborative strategies to create a safer, more inclusive transportation system in BC.
The Project is funded by the Vancouver Foundation as a Systems Change Grant.
