This community needs assessment report is designed to gather research on the local, provincial and national level barriers to housing for women experiencing violence. While the scope of our research is to identify the needs and gaps for women accessing affordable housing in BC, we also looked to global and national research to gather information on best practices and well-documented gaps that housing researchers have already acknowledged in other jurisdictions.
